When someone unfollows me I take it very personally.

so i just came across this and I wanted to add my 5 cents by saying that in 11 out of 10 cases, when you lose a follower, its because someone that followed you got banned by tumblr for posting gross porn, probably on a sideblog, that enraged some dickhead enough to go through tumblrs annoying report system to get rid of them.

but if you want more followers, posting porn is definitely the way to go.

The debate, now explained with jokes!

Why Net Neutrality Matters (And What You Can Do To Help)

Do you like posting to Tumblr? Wanna continue? Well, soon, you might have to pay for it just like Cable TV.

Reblog and make your voice heard to secure the internet as a free-for-all!

I know “this is important” is a little overused on Tumblr, but seriously, if you’re here, reading this and like doing that:

THIS.

IS.

IMPORTANT.

Check it out, visit DearFCC.org, and keep posting about this anywhere you can. In fact, there’s an official Reddit thread about this where they’re collecting personal stories and opinions as to why you think Net Neutrality is important. Add your own voice to the message and it could be sent right to the people in charge of this crap. We did!

Listen. If this goes through, this shit could spread to other countries, like Canada and even to countries in Europe.

So speak up. Because if you don’t and this goes through, you’ll be left scratching your heads wondering what you could have done to help stop this when all you had to do was share with other people and talk about what’s going on now.

Even if you don’t sign the petition, because you forgot or you didn’t feel like it for some reason, you can still send a message and post in the comments of the petition. WE NEED TO SPEAK UP!

I can’t do anything because I’m not from the US, so I’m counting on all my American followers. You guys have the responsibility to help keep the internet as the beautifully weird anarchistic mess it is and should be

Press TV’s Gaza correspondent breaks down while covering Israeli killing of Palestinian children

Gaza is receiving no international aide as they are being slaughtered by Israel. Egypt has closed off it’s borders, won’t even extract medically injured persons or deliver medical supplies. Only let in Gazans with foreign passports. Civilians, kids, women, doctors, paramedics, are being murdered. my heart is so heavy and even though I am far from well off just living on American soil makes me feel so guilty rn. what a horrendous account of human rights violations occurring, and just look at those in power silently watching.

This is fucking heartbreaking

Mapping the Universe

The Sloan Digital Sky Survey has created the most detailed three-dimensional maps of the Universe ever made, with deep multi-color images of one third of the sky, and spectra for more than three million astronomical objects. The SDSS is a major multi-filter imaging and spectroscopic redshift survey using a dedicated 2.5-m wide-angle optical telescope at Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico, United States. Data collection began in 2000, and the final imaging data release covers over 35% of the sky, with photometric observations of around 500 million objects and spectra for more than 1 million objects. Most of these objects have never been studied before.
